Manage Lists: Login and Passwords

This is the first part of a document outlining some common tasks for managing your email lists on the ITS list server (lists.psu.edu).

I. LOGGING IN

Using your browser, go to http://lists.psu.edu. Click on “Mailing List Management Interface”.

At the next screen, you will typically be asked to login to your Listserv account. Enter your email address and password then press Log In.

If this is your first time to use the ITS list server or if you have forgotten your password, click on the link to get a new LISTSERV password (see Section II below).

The ListServ web site uses browser “cookies” and, by default, will often remember that you were logged in. You may not be asked to login every time you go to the ListServ web site if you are using the same computer.


II. FIRST TIME  - GETTING A NEW PASSWORD

Clicking on Get a new LISTSERV password takes you to the “Register LISTSERV Password” screen.  Type your email address and a new password. This password is only associated with the LISTSERV system and does not have to be the same as your other PSU passwords.

When you are ready, press the Register Password button. An email message will be sent to your email account to confirm the password that you assigned to yourself.

Clicking on the link in the email message should open your web browser and complete your password request.
