The U.S. Poultry & Egg Association is the world's largest and most active poultry organization. They represent the entire industry as an "All Feather" association. The College Student Career Program is the only one of its kind in the poultry industry. The students eligible to participate are seniors or graduates from a four-year program with various majors. Underclassmen seeking internships are also eligible to interview. Approximately 300 students from 25 universities participate every year.
This site was created to provide information on career opportunities in the poultry industry and to help people learn more about how they can pursue a future in a dynamic, ever-changing, technologically advanced industry with tremendous job opportunities for college-trained young people.
Each year Penn State competes in the National Poultry Judging Contest. Congratulations to this years members for their outstanding performance.
This site provides educational information and support information for poultry producers, extension professionals, volunteer leaders and teachers. This site also provides easy to follow links to a variety of commercial poultry, 4-H poultry and small / specialty avian flock resources.
