Spring Activities

Congratulations, The Penn State Poultry Science Club was named the National "Club of the Year" at the US Poultry College Program for the third straight year and six of the past twelve years in Atlanta in January 2017. Also won scrapbook of the year and Matt Hackenberg placed 2nd in the "Student of the Year" Competition.

These photos help archive the clubs success at the USPEA College program over the years.

Every year the club fills Easter baskets and donates them to the local food bank for kids who may not otherwise receive anything on Easter. We made over 60 baskets this year.

Since 2007 the club was invited to volunteer at the Easter Egg Roll on the White House lawn. At the Egg Roll there are activities and games for kids to celebrate Easter. We get to help with posters, work in the food tent, hand out items, run different events and some even get to wear official Easter Egg Roll Costumes.

At the end of every year we get together and recognize our advisers, outstanding club members, and friends. We also Have the annual Distinguished Alumni address the club.

Since 2008 the club helped with Penn State's youth poultry science seminar "Youth Poultry 101". Everyone had a great time sharing our poultry knowledge and presenting the club to potential future members.

Each year the club helps run the poultry exhibit and volunteers in the Penn Ag food booth .
