Student Clubs
Ag Advocates are undergraduates who have been chosen to represent Penn State and the College of Agricultural Sciences at activities throughout the year.
The Penn State Biomedical Sciences Club is open to students of all majors who are interested in the biomedical sciences.
Coaly Society is the honorary leadership society for College of Agricultural Sciences students who have demonstrated leadership excellence and satisfactory academic performance.
Collegiate 4-H is a student organization sponsored by the College of Ag Sciences and the Department of Agricultural and Extension Education.
EARTH House is an enjoyable and diverse living environment for students interested in agricultural and environmental issues. Academic support including tutoring and study groups is also part of EARTH House.
The Equestrian Team is a member of the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) and is open to full-time undergraduate students from all colleges who have an interest in horses and hunt seat English-riding.
The Food Science Club is a Penn State student-based group composed of both undergraduate and graduate members in Food Science.
The Penn State Poultry Science Club promotes the study of the avian species and enhances members' understanding of the poultry industry. The club takes part in many unique activities, fundraisers and community service projects. These include guest speakers at meetings, industry tours, a fall turkey harvest, participating in the homecoming parade, a trip to the international trade show in Atlanta, spring awards banquet with a benefit silent auction to name a few.
The Pre-Vet Club allows students interested in veterinary medicine as a career to interact with each other and provides an opportunity to gain information and experiences relevant to veterinary medicine.
The purpose of the Penn State Small & Exotic Animal Club is to promote responsible pet ownership, to increase education about small and exotic animal topics among the students of the university and the community, and to provide students with animal-oriented volunteer opportunities throughout the area.
The Penn State Soil Judging Team is comprised of students who have an interest in Soil Science at any level, and who are looking to develop stronger field interpretation skills.
The Sustainable Agriculture Club strives to help the Penn State community better understand the importance of sustainable agriculture. The club gives students the opportunity to engage in activities and discussions that explore today's food system at a farm level.
The purpose of the Penn State Weed Science Team is to prepare for the Northeastern Weed Science Society – Collegiate Weed Science Contest.
