4-H and Youth

Visit the fun and hands-on 4-H Youth Building! Children can engage with our interactive exhibits, learn about insects, hold them in their hands and discover the subject of entomology! Come play with the bunnies, work with fiber arts, discover the world of food science and even learn about plant diseases.

Where:Main St. between West 8th - 9th St. 

Find out about the great opportunities 4-H has to offer in science, engineering, technology, citizenship, leadership, and healthy living. Check out the spiders and make friends with a rabbit. Meet members of the 4-H state officer team and the dairy princesses. Fun, games, activities, and prizes for all youth visitors who participate!

  • PSU Plant Pathology - Experience hands-on discovery of plant diseases with magnifying glasses, microscopes and games
  • Good Time 4-H Club - We want you in 4-H!! - This club based out of Union county will show the diversity of 4-H through projects, posters, demos, and conversation
  • Pennsylvania 4-H - Do you want to see how a bean looks underground? We'll help you to make a bean bracelet to watch the bean take root
  • Jefferson & Potter County 4-HCome explore what children participating in an a local Progressive Agriculture Safety Day® experience. Recognized as the largest rural safety and health education program for children in North America, more than 1.5 million children and adults have been impacted by the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day® since 1995.  Safety Days are one-day, age-appropriate, hands-on, safe and fun events for children and families.
