Notice of Solicitation Email and Alerts

Our Ag Progress Days Office or online registration service provider may contact you directly by email on behalf of Penn State (psu.edu), and these emails will appear from agprogressdays@psu.edu. This includes our requests for missing exhibitor information, program information and confirmations.

Hotel Scams:

We are aware that private travel businesses place ads on the web which misrepresent an affiliation with our event. Some even attempt to contact show exhibitors directly and falsely represent themselves as host hotels. Please view our list of local hotel accommodations as your resource for lodging.

Scam Acquiring Attendee Lists:

We do not register our attendees of the show, but there seems to be database pirates that send general solicitations to trade show exhibitors, falsely declaring they are in possession of this information and willing to sell it to you! Please beware that this is a scam email. As recent as July 3, 2017 an exhibitor reported receiving a solicitation from a "Joanne Edwards, Marketing Executive at Expoinfo" please note this is not legitimate!

Scam Requesting Payment Information:

We correspond directly with you from our agprogressdays@psu.edu email and all other solicitations should be viewed as unofficial. Do not give credit card information over email, and please call our office directly at 814-865-2081, if you have questions.
