2013 Tour of National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden

The Ag Alumni Society would also like to thank alumnus Jeff Nagle '98 Landscape Contracting and his colleague Soloman Foster for an extraordinary tour of the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Gardens and Greenhouses for members of the National Agricultural Alumni and Development Association (NAADA) during the annual conference in Alexandria, VA.

Completed in 1999, the National Gallery of Art Sculpture Garden was designed as a series of outdoor rooms which extend the Gallery’s mission of sharing the finest works of art with the public.  Trees and shrubs create a public museum of lush plantings that frame the gallery of sculptures. The National Gallery of Art Garden includes plantings of native American species of canopy trees, flowering trees, shrubs, ground covers, and perennials.
