Posted: March 23, 2017

Undergraduate students in the Community, Environment and Development capstone course are conducting a survey that will be helpful in the planning and curation of the Penn State Calorimeter.

In collaboration with Penn State’s Pasto Agricultural Museum, undergraduate students in the Community, Environment and Development capstone course are conducting a study to determine how the community values the Penn State Calorimeter.

In order to understand who cares about this historic building and it's legacy, please participate in this brief survey: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/psu_calorimeter.

During the 1900s, this Calorimeter performed groundbreaking research, as it was one of the first of it’s kind in this country. It helped farmers understand precisely how their animals were metabolizing their feed, and was influential in many fields of study, including dairy and human nutrition.
