Ag Career Day unique opportunity for alumni

Posted: September 19, 2014

Ag Career Day, sponsored by the College of Agricultural Sciences, isn't just for current students. It's for alumni of the college, too. At the event, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 21 at the Bryce Jordan Center, alumni and students of the college can meet with 200 or so representatives from more than 100 industry employers and higher education institutions from across the country.

Ag Career Day gives agricultural businesses the chance to recruit and interview alumni and students for internships and full-time career positions, and also offers alumni and students the chance to meet with representatives from graduate and professional schools.

It's an excellent networking opportunity for alumni and students to interact with industry representatives and discover firsthand the careers that are available. Companies scheduled to appear include large international organizations, national and regional organizations, and Pennsylvania and local businesses.
