Penn State in the City: Making a Difference in the Community

Date:      Saturday, April 27, 2013
Time:      1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Location: SHARE
              2901 West Hunting Park Avenue
              Philadelphia, PA 19129

Lots of hands-on demonstrations and fun activities for kids showcasing the wide range of leading edge, science focused, agricultural education services provided by PSU Extension. Tour high tunnels and meet the farmers who use them to grow food year round throughout the city; see cooking demonstrations; learn how to keep bees in your backyard and be a master gardener; watch 4-H kids demonstrate their archery skills.

Best of all, grow your connection from Philadelphia to PSU while you mix and mingle and sample free food and soft beverages, listen to live music, purchase harder beverages, participate in a scavenger hunt, and have some fun in the photo booth. Stay tuned for more details.
