Rethinking the Business Model

The AG Futures Team had their third meeting on October 26, 2010, and examined external shifts that could impact the college, as well as worked on draft documents of guiding principles, core competencies, and strategic imperatives to drive future decision making, which can be found below.
 
Members of the AG Futures Team were divided into four teams that have each been assigned a strategic imperative area for the college and have been charged to provide the steering committee with a report detailing where we are now, what is impacting the market, and what we could do to uniquely position the college around this opportunity area.  They will also be making recommendations around a business model to provide the implementation platform for that strategic area.
 
During the next two weeks, the teams will be interviewing faculty and staff with expertise in these areas as they prepare their recommendations and report.   If you have expertise that you think would be of value to one of the strategic imperative teams, please fill out the interview request form below, and a team member will contact you.

Term definitions:

  • Declaration: What we aspire to be
  • Values: Traits and qualities that guide our behavior
  • Core Competencies:  Technical and organizational capabilities that make the organization unique and transcend individual products and services.
  • Strategic Imperative Areas:  Define a strategic market sector, opportunities and business model to build on for future success.
