Winter is a great time to attend a Penn State Extension workshop or conference. There are many Extension offerings related to land and water conservation coming up in February and March.

Forest Landowners Conference

An all-day conference designed to help forest landowners understand some of the management options that are available to them.

Manure Management Plan Development Workshop

A full day program designed to assist people in writing a manure management plan for their farm operation.

Master Watershed Steward Training Courses

This program provides extensive training in watershed management to volunteer who, in return, educate the community about watershed stewardship based on university research and recommendations.

Soil Fertility Workshop

Learn how to control input costs and maximize yield through farm-tested information presented by Dr. Doug Beegle, Penn State Soil Fertility Specialist and local extension educators. PA Nutrient Management and Certified Crop Adviser credits will be offered.
