2005-2008 Strategic Plan

Our plan for 2005-2008 provided a new vision and a centerpiece of organizing our teaching, research and extension around three interrelated systems:

• Food and fiber system
• Ecosystem
• Socioeconomic system

That plan also included four new goals:

• Increase enrollment and enhance student success
• Enhance knowledge discovery and translation
• Strengthen communication and education with stakeholders
• Lead and manage the college as a system

Substantial progress has been made during the 2005-2008 plan timeframe. However we feel that more progress is possible through continued refinement of the principles and implementation opportunities from that plan. Therefore the three systems and the four goals continue as the foundation of our 2008-2013 plan.
